I just received my official invitation to the Peace Corps. Forestry in Madagascar! I'll be heading off Feb 10th. I thought I was going to miss the cut-off but my Placement Officer rushed me through and after ~48 hours of last minute forms and additional medical tests, I was cleared! A whole day before the deadline too! This is one of the most desired placements and is often referred to as 'winning the lottery.' This has also been finals week... last one tonight, fortunately none require that much attention. Time to dive into fat package of paperwork they sent me.
